The Business School has a strong foundation for developing entrepreneurship education. In 2004, the Business School established the Entrepreneurship Pioneer Class across all majors in the university. Building on the foundation of previous efforts, the Business School launched the 3.0 version of entrepreneurship education, the Experimental Class of Entrepreneurship Management, in 2022. The entrepreneurship education at the Business School has yielded a series of influential outcomes both domestically and internationally. These achievements have earned the School various honors, including the National Teaching Achievement Award (Second Prize), the Ministry of Education/Ministry of Finance Innovation Experimental Zone for Talent Cultivation Models, the Chinese College Students’ KAB Entrepreneurship Education Base under the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, the Beijing Municipal Excellent Teaching Team, the Beijing Municipal Demonstrative On-Campus Innovation and Practice Base for Institutions of Higher Education, the Ministry of Education's Virtual Teaching and Research Office, and the Beijing Municipal Excellent Undergraduate Course for Institutions of Higher Education. The opening ceremony served as a chance for the teachers and students of the experimental class to reunite and brainstorm innovative models to entrepreneurship education, kicking off the new semester's teaching activities for the experimental class.
